The Chaos series is a tribute to the generative and transformative power of women.The works evoke the feminine ability to heal wounds, reconnect with oneself and the world, and be reborn from chaos, narrating paths of inner reconstruction and self-affirmation.Through an expressive use of color and material, Mario Matera conveys the energy of a resilience process that is both personal and universal. -

The Golden Series
With the Golden series, Matera draws inspiration from the ancient Japanese technique of Kintsugi, the art of repairing ceramics with gold, turning fractures into a new form of beauty.
The artist translates this concept into his paintings, exploring the ability to embrace scars as part of one’s value and personal history.
