The sculpture is made up of two figures, who support each other, physically and emotionally. The incisions on the “skin” are seams that hold various fragments together to symbolize all the components that make up us, physical or emotional. The metaphor is the union of the parts: we are fragmented individual, with fragmented identities, in search for Unity in order to be able to give more of ourselves to others. In this path, however, it is possible to find a kindred soul to bond with so that it supports us and helps us to complete us, and vice versa.
