Enrico Baj (1924–2003) was an Italian artist known for his experimental and provocative approach.

In 1951, together with Sergio Dangelo, he founded the Nuclear Art Movement, promoting an art form that reflected the anxieties of the atomic age.

He later initiated the International Movement for an Imaginist Bauhaus, as a reaction against the rationalism of modern design.

His works, often created using collage and assemblage techniques, combine ironic and critical elements, frequently featuring grotesque figures made with found materials.

Baj’s artistic production engages with political and social themes, while consistently maintaining a playful and subversive spirit.
